About Kindness Quest
Kindness Quest is a tiny role-playing game with a twist: there are no enemies, no health bar, and no fighting. Instead, you wander a small village and help the critters who live there with little favours — finding a lost item, sharing a snack, sitting with someone who's feeling low. Every quest is a small kindness, and completing one ripples outward into the next.
The game is built to be finished in one calm sitting, but it's just as happy to be picked up in pieces. Your progress is saved in your browser, so you can help one villager today and another tomorrow without losing your place.
How to get the most from it
- Talk to everyone. The village's charm is in its small conversations, and some quests only open up after you've chatted with the right critter.
- There's no wrong order. Follow whichever character you find most endearing first.
- Take your time — nothing here is timed, and nothing punishes you for wandering off the path to explore.
Kindness Quest grew from a simple question: what would a role-playing game feel like if its core loop were generosity instead of combat? If the wholesome, story-light pace suits you, you'll likely also enjoy the reflective planting in Mood Forest.
