Frequently Asked Questions
Are the games really free?
Completely. Every game on LuminaFeed is free to play from start to finish, with nothing locked behind a paywall or a "premium" tier. A small number of ads placed around the games cover the cost of keeping the site online.
Do I need to make an account?
No — and you never will. There are no logins, sign-ups, or email walls. Click a game and you're playing. This is a deliberate choice: the site is meant to be the opposite of friction.
Where does my progress get saved?
Each game saves its own progress in your browser's localStorage. That data lives only on your device and is never sent to a server — we genuinely can't see it. The trade-off is that clearing your browser data, using private/incognito mode, or switching to a different device or browser will start you fresh.
Can I play on my phone or tablet?
Yes. Every game is responsive and works on phones, tablets, and desktops. Games that need input use touch controls on mobile and mouse or keyboard on desktop. For the most comfortable experience, the daily word puzzle in particular is lovely on a phone with your morning coffee.
Is Daily Word Bloom the same puzzle for everyone?
Yes — like other daily word games, everyone gets the same word on the same day, so you can compare with friends. A new word appears each day at local midnight.
Do the games collect my personal data?
The games themselves collect nothing personal — no names, no emails, no accounts. The site uses basic privacy-respecting analytics and shows ads, both of which may use cookies. The full details are in the privacy policy.
How does LuminaFeed make money?
A small number of unobtrusive ads are placed around — never inside — the games. That revenue pays for hosting, the domain, and the time it takes to keep making new things. There's no other catch.
Will there be more games?
That's the plan. LuminaFeed is made by one person, so new games arrive at a human pace, but the collection grows over time. The best way to see what's new is to check back, or bookmark the home page.
I found a bug / have a suggestion. What do I do?
Email hello@luminafeed.com. Bug reports, word suggestions for Daily Word Bloom, and kind notes are all genuinely welcome.
